Forty Studies That Changed Psychology (7e 2015)
Hock, R. R. (2015). Forty Studies That Changed Psychology: Explorations into the history of psychological research (7th ed.). Harlow: Pearson Education.
ISBN 9781292070964 129207096X
I am reading two other books (one about Models of Teaching; the other about Development of Moral Behaviour) and this little book has become invaluable due to the readings suggested in the other books. It unlocks so much; yet it is not an omnibus of the original studies. For me it is better because it is a resource of discussion and summary of the original research presented in a very first person, humorous style (if you don't mind the off-beat, academic style of Hock's humour!). I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the Studies once I've completed my other two books.
