Book: The handbook of project-based management (J Rodney Turner 2e 1999)

The handbook of project-based management (J Rodney Turner 2e 1999)

Turner, J. R. (1999). The handbook of project-based management: Improving the processes for achieving strategic objectives (second edition). London: McGraw-Hill.
ISBN 9780077091613

Although I got this book circa 2006 I didn't begin to read it until 2011. Its author appears to have plenty of experience in Europe; the title by Dobie (see below) has more of an Australian slant. Whichever, both are highly readable, well researched and informative. The PMBOK book is the handbook for Project Managers (PMs) but these titles are a great read.
